Publishing your Operator bundle to the IBM Cloud catalog
This tutorial walks you through how to publish an Operator bundle to IBM Cloud®. By completing this tutorial, you learn how to submit your publishing request, get your approval notification, and then publish your product to the IBM Cloud catalog.
This tutorial is one of four in a series that demonstrates how to onboard and publish a sample Operator bundle from the Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud Certified registry. It uses a fictitious company that's called Example Corp. As you complete the tutorial, adapt each step to fit your product's needs.
Before you begin
Make sure you complete all onboarding tasks, including defining your product details and onboarding your Operator bundle.
Submit your publishing request
- In the IBM Cloud console, click the Navigation Menu icon > Partner Center > My products.
- Select the Operator bundle that you are onboarding from the list.
- From the Onboarding checklist, click Request Approval.
- Select the version that you onboarded as the version that you want to publish, and click Request Approval.
At this point, your publishing request is reviewed by IBM Cloud to ensure that the required details, such as your product name, catalog entry, product page, and support experience are complete and accurate. When your request is approved, you receive an email notifying you that you can publish your product to the catalog.
If updates are required, you receive a separate email that includes review feedback that explains what updates you need to make. After you address all review feedback, you can submit another publishing request.
Publish your Operator bundle
- Go to the Partner Center in the IBM Cloud console by clicking the link in the email that you receive notifying you that your publishing request is approved.
- Click Publish to catalog.
